On 16 November 2021, Brisbane Diamantina Health Partners announced that it will be known as Health Translation Queensland.
The name change is the result of significant engagement with their stakeholders, and efforts to better understand their role as a key research translation centre in Queensland.
The new name reflects the scope and intent of the partnership between 11 of Queensland’s leading healthcare and research institutes, most of which have a state-wide reach. It also speaks to their vision – to improve population health outcomes through collaborative partnerships that translate scientific discovery and knowledge into practice.
Put simply, Health Translation Queensland is accelerating discovery into practice.
