VCCC alliance
The Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) alliance is a multi-site, multidisciplinary joint venture partnership between 10 leading medical research, academic and clinical institutions with a shared goal of improving outcomes for Victorian cancer patients.
The VCCC alliance partners are Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne Health (including The Royal Melbourne Hospital), the University of Melbourne, the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, the Royal Women’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Western Health, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (including St Vincent’s Institute), Austin Health (including the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute and Austin Lifesciences) and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. The Victorian Government is a major supporter of the VCCC.
Together, the VCCC alliance partners represent a critical mass of expertise and resources. The VCCC alliance mission is to turn the potential of this into best possible outcomes for Victorian cancer patients.
Why CT:IQ
VCCC alliance is currently developing and implementing the Clinical Trial Innovation Program as part of its 2021-2024 Strategic Program Plan and has joined the CT:IQ Steering Committee to explore potential synergies and collaboration opportunities with CT:IQ and its members.
